“Entangled” was inspired by a wild pokeweed that appeared out of nowhere in my yard. I let it be — and year after year, it returns, bigger and more beautiful. Its bright purple stems, lush green leaves, and clusters of deep berries fill my side yard with unexpected beauty. This “weed” is proof that magic has a way of showing up uninvited — and this piece is my little tribute to that kind of wonder.
